What Is Truth?

In November, will will begin a new study called What Is Truth? by Paul Copan & Mark Linville. This study is part of the RZIM Critical Questions series edited by Ravi Zacharias. We will look at objective truth, reality and morality and what implications these have on each of us as Christians. We will gain an understanding of relativism and how this common philosophy is unlivable even in our age of high tolerance. This is a 6-session study and will require the study guide at a cost of $6 and you can just bring the money to class with you.

After studying the book of James, we discussed what we could do as a class to outreach and serve. These were the brainstorming ideas that were captured. They fall into 3 categories.

Broad
Feed the hungry/poor

Targeted, Long-term
Epworth Children's home
Financial education
Collect resource materials for other groups/churches
Adopt a struggling church

Targeted, Short-term
Adopt-a-Family
Natalie
Turkey Dinner on Movember 1st.
